Gibault Catholic High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Waterloo, Illinois. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Belleville. The school is named in honor of Father Pierre Gibault.
Gibault Catholic was established in 1946 as St. Peter and Paul School.[2]
Gibault is known for winning three consecutive state championships in soccer between 2005–2007, followed with a 3rd place finish in 2008 and a 2nd place finish in 2009. Head soccer coach, Jim Corsi, has recently been inducted into Illinois High School Association coaches' Hall of Fame.[3]
